So, if you've been following me on Twitter, you may have seem my tweet about having the worst "Airport to Home" of my life when I got to Japan. First, I had to go to the office to get my key, then I had to find my way here... The problem was, I had way too much stuff: camera bag, laptop bag, giant suitcase, and gym bag.
I didn't intend to have so much stuff! I just accumulated too much, and I started off with a few things I didn't need. For example, at Tiger Muay Thai I had to buy bigger gloves and shin pads for sparring. I also bought a gopro and some other camera accessories. Add in supplements I bought to avoid crazy costs in Japan and Brazil and you have a heavy bag!
My bags were so heavy they broke. The large luggage was so heavy, the whole bag fell apart. The handle that you use to drag the bag around pulled right out.
I looked into buying a new bag, but I am in the WRONG country for that. I went to a cheap dollar store and saw luggage going for over a grand. Also, it'd be nice to lighten the load a bit. So I'm sending stuff back and attempting to fix my luggage!
